Name: Ignatius Sullivan. Nicknames: Iggy. He goes by this. Position: Junior. Age: 17. Birthday: November 9th. Height: 5'11". Weight: 154 lbs. Hair Colour: Dark brown. Eye Colour: Brown. Marks: Scar from where he had his appendix removed.
Appearance: Iggy is the sort of guy who looks equally home in scruffy jeans and vintage tees as he does decked out in a shirt and tie. He is of a good height, almost reaching six feet, with a build that is slender in an agile and lean sort of way. He has wiry muscles, and whip-sharp strength, although he'd rather use his tongue and a well placed jibe as a weapon, if need be. His hair is dark brown, and is worn a bit shaggy, falling in an artfully disheveled mess over his forehead and over his ears. He has brown eyes and a sly and smirky mouth. Often he wears a set of emo-style glasses, which suit him well, although there is nothing emo about Iggy Sullivan.
Psychic Ability: Technopathy. Expanded abilities: Iggy has the ability to communicate with computers, and technology in general, with his mind. He can transmit his thoughts to computer, typing without ever having to lay a hand on has keyboard, and can pull information from his computer without having to touch it. He can shuffle through webpages and files with a twitch of his mind He has an understanding of technoloy, how it works, when it works, and wh it doesn't when it breaks. He can understan computer code like he would English, and can write code and program. He can hack very well. Limitations: Sometimes he can become so involved with a computer that he forgets the outside world and becomes unaware of the passage of time. He cannot yet send his astral self through wires, although tries. Take away technology and he cannot do anything with his ability.
Personality: Iggy is a bit of cocky swagger and lazy smirks. He has ample self-confidence and it shows. He knows that he is skilled, charming and clever. But the thing is, Iggy really is all of these things. He is charming with a silver tongue and a quick wit. Clever, he thinks on his feet well, and also off. He can be lazy and lounging and seems very amused with the world around him. He's the sort of guy who will laugh with you, but also at you, if it strikes him to do so. He is very determined when something is worth it, most often seen when it comes to work, or getting his own way. He likes a good joke with friends, likes messing around with computers and what not. He likes geeky things, because it's part of who he is, and yet there's nothing geeky about Iggy. He's a great guy to be friends with, because he knows how to have fun, how to give a joke and how to take one. When i comes to people he doesn't know, or doesn't like, he does like to push buttons sometimes. Its his way of figuring out who can take a joke and who can't.
Strengths: Anything with technology. Iggy can kick ass at video and computer games, old school and new. He can fix a computer, a cell phone, whatever. He's smart. Very smart. Sometimes too smart for his own good. Weaknesses: Iggy doesn't always do his school work, because he gets bored easily due to the lack of challenge (for him). It is a case of a potential over-achiever becoming an underachiever. He does alright because he can ace tests and exams without studying, but he gets in trouble ofter for not doing homework and assignments. Likes: Cars, weekends, video games of all types, computer games, his computer, his cell phone, his iPod, black humour (in both books and movies), rock music, vintage t-shirts, shirts and ties worn in a rock star way, math, hockey and soccer, Spy Vs. Spy, Stephen King, failblog, laughing at human stupidity, pizza, bacon cheeseburgers, coffee. Dislikes: Classes in general, early mornings, being completely without technology, people who lack a sense of humour, people who get defensive about everything, crappy music, technophobes, people who don't take care of their computers.
History: Iggy is an only child and it shows a little bit. His parents didn't see the need for another child, as they had a son and thus someone to pass along the family name. Although he had everything he needed, he wasn't spoiled (not too badly), and he certainly wasn't sheltered. Rather he was allowed to see the world sharply and clearly. Always a clever boy, Iggy found school dull and often seemed like a candidate for ADD, but it was because he was bored and not challenged enough. Testings by school psychologists showed that he had an IQ significantly above average.
At age thirteen, his powers developed. Funny things happened when he was around the computers at school. At first it was chalked up to a fluke, but soon enough it became clear that when Iggy was around computers, weird things happened. He was pulled out of school to be home schooled for a while, while his parents took him to doctors and tried to figure out what was wrong with him. Eventually they found a doctor who recognized it for what it was. He suggested that Iggy be enrolled in a school in New Hamshire called the Zener School for the Mind. So Iggy went there for his Sophomore year and is now midway through his Junior Year.
